Multilingual WordPress site for a German construction and renovation company, with WPML and a full Elementor build.
The Brief
yModul GmbH is a Stuttgart-based general contractor specialising in energy-efficient renovation and construction projects for residential, hotel, and commercial clients. As a young company with an experienced team, they needed a professional site that communicated their full-service offering clearly to potential clients in both German and English.
My Role
I was the sole developer, responsible for the WordPress build, Elementor theme, WPML multilingual configuration, and third-party integrations.
Technical Approach
The site is built on WordPress with Elementor Pro and WPML for German/English language support, with translated URL slugs and correctly configured hreflang tags for SEO. Cookie consent is handled by Real Cookie Banner Pro, giving the client a GDPR-compliant consent management layer that integrates cleanly with Google Analytics and other third-party scripts. Contact forms use Google reCAPTCHA to handle spam without friction for genuine enquiries.
